Terms of Service

The basis on which this website is provided and our services are engaged.

Template for legal review. These terms are a starting point drafted to match VeroMed’s service model. Have them reviewed by Kenyan counsel, and align the liability, governing law and dispute clauses with your professional indemnity cover before publication.

1. About these terms

These terms govern your use of the VeroMed website. They do not replace the engagement letter, proposal, or service agreement that governs any consultancy work we carry out for you. Where there is a conflict, the signed engagement document prevails.

2. Information on this site

Content on this website — including our guides, checklists and playbooks — is provided for general information. It summarises regulatory requirements as we understand them at the time of publication. Requirements, fees and timelines set by the Pharmacy and Poisons Board and other authorities change. Nothing on this site is regulatory, legal or professional advice, and it should not be relied on as a substitute for advice on your specific product, site or portfolio.

3. Engaging our services

An enquiry submitted through this site does not create a client relationship. Services are provided only once scope, deliverables, timelines and fees have been agreed in writing.

4. Your responsibilities as a client

  • Providing complete, accurate and current information, documentation and data.
  • Holding and maintaining the underlying authorizations, certificates and records your submission depends on.
  • Notifying us promptly of changes that affect a submission, registration or quality system.
  • Meeting statutory fees payable to regulatory authorities, which are separate from our professional fees.

5. Regulatory outcomes

We prepare, review and submit to the standards expected by the relevant authority, and we manage queries through to resolution. Approval decisions, assessment timelines and inspection outcomes rest with the regulator. We do not guarantee a particular decision or date.

6. Intellectual property

The design, text, graphics and downloadable materials on this site belong to VeroMed unless stated otherwise. You may read, print and share them for internal, non-commercial use with attribution. You may not republish, resell or present them as your own work.

7. Confidentiality

Information you share with us is handled under our Confidentiality Commitment and any executed confidentiality agreement.

8. Third-party links

This site links to external resources, including regulatory authorities. We are not responsible for their content or availability.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, VeroMed is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this website. Liability arising from consultancy services is governed by the limits set out in the applicable engagement agreement.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya, and the courts of Kenya have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
